DC Miller is a native of Scotland. He received his MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of South Carolina in 1996. He has taught poetry workshops at graduate and undergraduate, and high school levels at the University of Alabama and the University of South Carolina, as well as for the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts. He has published poetry in The Mississippi Review, The Southern Poetry Review, The Carolina Quarterly, Ploughshares, and other journals.
