Lee Bauknight, who completed his MFA in fiction in 2002, is a Visiting Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the First-Year English Program at USC. Before returning to graduate school, he worked for more than a decade as a newspaper editor in Columbia and Atlanta. His primary teaching interest is writing from introductory composition courses to creative writing. Lee is an Artist in Residence in Creative Writing for the Tri District Arts Consortium and a Guest Artist for the Palmetto Center for the Arts.
